Only with Adobe Acrobat Reader you can view, sign, collect and track feedback and share PDFs for free. And when you want to do more, subscribe to Acrobat Pro. Can you confirm that you have the latest version of the Adobe Reader installer. I currently run Adobe Reader 9.02 on my Windows 7 64 Bit without any issues. I would check the Adobe site for the latest installer and try running that see if it helps.
